ABOUT US
Founded in 1982 in a Laurel, Montana garage, Ellis Audio grew from Shawn Ellestad’s hobby as a DJ and car audio enthusiast into a premier installation shop. Over the decades, the team expanded to include long-time collaborator Jerimiah Mangus (who joined in 1994) and evolved their services to include motorcycles, side-by-sides, and custom-built subwoofer enclosures.
As of 2025, the business has moved into a brand-new facility built by Shawn and his son-in-law, Jerimiah Smith. This year also marks a new chapter as Shawn passes the torch to his daughter, Morgan Bernell, to lead the company’s continued growth and community service.

Can I get directions to your location?
Come to laurel! Our address is 606 South 6th Street Laurel Mt 59044. Go to the south school, on the left of the school is a church with a dirt road in the middle. Take that dirt road down, curve to the right and take a left in between the two big shops, keeping going left and your there!
Can I Return Product?
We do not have a return policy on installed products. If you order product online and sent the incorrect product, then we will send you the correct product free of charge.
